This article explores the images of women in the works of Alexander Pushkin and Mikhail Lermontov, focusing on the characteristic features and social contexts in which these characters exist. On the example of “Eugene Onegin” and “The Hero of Our Time” both common and distinctive features inherent in female images are analyzed, which allows a deeper understanding of the authors' artistic vision.
