Previously, we studied the effect of the use of whey on the course of childbirth in the highlands. In the course of the study, the facts of the early development of osteoporosis at an earlier age in women were revealed. These data have long occupied a place in practical medicine. The study of the causes was the main method of this study. The purpose of this study is to analyze the clinical and functional features of osteoporosis in women of preclimacteric age living in the highlands and middle mountains of Kyrgyzstan.
Materials and research methods: clinical and instrumental diagnostic methods were used, including densitometry, biochemical markers of bone metabolism. Differences in the severity of bone loss have been established depending on the altitude area of residence.
The results of the study are important for the development of regionally adapted programs for the prevention and early detection of osteoporosis.
