At the present time, the role of the male factor in infertile marriage is about 40%. To elucidate causes of infertility an important role plays determining the size of the external genitalia (genitometria), and compliance of these dimensions to age norms. Despite the considerable variability in the size of the external genitalia, genitometriya allows in combination with other methods to diagnose hypogonadism and delayed puberty. Material and methods: for this purpose we used the instrument designed by B.J. Krivorutskiy. Results: when the size of the penis or testicles is more than two standard deviation below the average wecan say about pathologic changes. Conclusions: for quick estimating of the testicles size can be also used theorchidometr (testometr) - a set of standards corresponding to a certain age and stage of sexual development.
